How to Request User Changes for Your Organization or Workspace

This document explains how owners and admin users can request that users be added to or removed from their organization or workspace.

Permissions

Eligibility to Request User Changes

User access changes should be requested by an owner or an admin user. This helps prevent unauthorized access changes and keeps workspace membership controlled. If you are not an owner or admin, route the request through someone who has authority to manage organization or workspace access.
Add Users

Details Needed for Adding a User

When requesting that a user be added, provide complete and accurate details. Include: 1. The full name of the user 2. The email address that should be used for access 3. The organization or workspace the user should join 4. The level of access the user needs, if relevant 5. Any timing requirements, such as a specific start date Incomplete requests slow down access changes and can create security risk.
Remove Users

Details Needed for Removing a User

When requesting that a user be removed, include: 1. The user’s full name 2. The user’s email address 3. The organization or workspace they should be removed from 4. Whether the removal is immediate 5. Any access or security concern that requires urgency If the request is time sensitive, state that clearly in the support request.
Process

Submitting a User Change Request

Submit the request through support. Be precise and include all relevant details in the first message so the request can be handled quickly. If your organization already has an assigned representative, support can route the request appropriately. Use one request per access change group whenever possible so the record stays clear.
Verification

Ensuring Completion of Access Changes

After the request is handled, verify the result: 1. Confirm that new users can access the correct workspace 2. Confirm that removed users no longer have access 3. Confirm that no unrelated users or workspaces were affected Do not treat the request as complete until the access outcome has been checked.
