Updating Account Settings Guide
This document explains how users can access settings and update their email, password, name, nickname, and icon.
Navigation
Accessing Account Settings
Sign in to your account and open Settings from the portal navigation. Settings is the correct place to manage your personal account details.
Once you are in Settings, look for the sections related to profile information, account access, and personal identity details.
Profile
Updating Name, Nickname, or Icon
Use the profile section in Settings to update personal display information such as:
1. Name
2. Nickname
3. Icon or profile image
After making changes, save the update and confirm that the new information appears correctly in the account.
Access
Changing Email Address
Open the account or security section in Settings and select the option to change your email address. Enter the new email carefully and review it before saving.
Because email is tied to account access, some changes may require verification before the update is fully applied. Do not assume the change is complete until the account shows the new address.
Security
Updating Password
Open the security area in Settings and select the password change option. Enter your current password if required, then enter the new password and confirm it.
Choose a strong password and store it securely. After saving the change, use the new password for future sign ins.
Troubleshooting
Resolving Update Issues
If a setting change fails, first refresh the page and confirm whether the update actually saved. If the problem remains, contact support and include:
1. The setting you tried to change
2. The approximate time of the attempt
3. Any error message shown in the portal
For email and password issues, use support promptly because those settings affect account access.
